Unlocking Value in Private Markets | Realigning strategy and transforming fund operations to be future-ready
The current challenging macroeconomic environment and recessionary precursors are adversely impacting portfolio investments returns, deal volumes and fundraising efforts which in turn is putting pressure on GPs’ operating budgets. This is leading GPs to focus on adopting low-cost and innovative technology-oriented solutions for sourcing attractive deals, portfolio management and value creation.

Furthermore, reporting frequency and complexity have increased significantly in recent years due to stringent regulations, unstructured reporting and limited partners’ (LPs’) and lenders’ requirements for more frequent and transparent reporting.

How should GPs / LPs optimise their investment strategies and realign their focus on new regions and sectors? How should LPs re-strategize their capital in favour of private markets given the current macro environment? How can GPs leverage technology to monitor their debt and equity investments in order to maximise returns, improve productivity and drive greater value? How can we effectively monitor risks, from dwindling valuations to covenant-lite loans? How do we integrate ESG KPIs into company valuations and the credit-monitoring process? How do we organise unstructured reporting data from mid-market portfolio companies?

Acuity Knowledge Partners is delighted to bring together three industry leaders to discuss best practices in private-market operations across strategies including private equity, private credit, venture capital, funds of funds, secondaries, real estate and infrastructure.

Join us as we challenge the status quo of everything, including fund operations, portfolio management, valuation and reporting.
